November is National Model Railroad MonthThe first Saturday in November we spend the day promoting the hobby by doing such things as having FREE public workshops.The National Model Railroad Association selected November as a month to encourage model railroaders. Many times a modeler, no matter the skill level, has questions about what they are doing. NMRA members have our fellow members to turn to. We could encourage those that do not belong to our group to join us. We open one day a year for PROMO DAY. We set one day a year aside for training sessions to cover several aspects of our hobby. This gives new or existing modelers an opportunity to ask the questions and see experienced hobbyists do their thing. While we are doing this we invite new people to view our layouts?
