Ashtabula Area Operating Group

Description: Informal, round robin HO model railroad operating and social group.
No dues. Everyone welcome.

Meets: Every Tuesday at 7:30 pm at members homes in the Ashtabula area.

Cuyahoga Valley S Gaugers

Description: S-gauge club open to all: scale, narrow gauge, tin plate, hi-rail, and collectors. Three portable layouts: sectional hi-rail, modular scale with both standard and 3 ft narrow gauge, and a traditional American Flyer. Formal club. $15 dues.

Meets: Third Sunday of every month in the evening at members homes.

Lake Erie Chapter TCA
(Mod Squad of NEOH)

Description: Modular Group based in Northeast Ohio. The group sets up three rail O Gauge operating displays at events in the area to meet the public and expose event guests to the model train hobby. Portable modules can be set up in various configurations including 8 x 35, 12 x 31 as well as other configurations.

Lake Erie N-Scale Society (LENS)

Description: Informal N-scale group, majority of members have NTRAK and T-TRAK modules but it is not a requirement. We set-up NTRAK and T-TRAK modules 5 to 6 times a year with over 40 NTRAK modules within the group. T-TRAK in the early stage, but growing with the interest.
We have occasional clinics during monthly meetings.
No dues.

Meets: We usually meet once a month at a members home or a library. We mainly have members from Lake and Geauga counties but all are welcome.

Lake Shore Live Steamers

Description: For people interested in live steam and gas powered machinery including trains, farm machinery, marine equipment, and stationary machinery. The group has trackage at Lake Metroparks Penitentiary Glen Nature Center in Kirtland, Ohio. Formal club. Various levels of membership. Standard adult dues are $35/year; $12 for junior membership. Regular run days - schedule available at Penitentiary Glen park building.

Meets: Third Saturday of every month at 7:00 pm at Penitentiary Glen Nature Center, 8668 Kirtland-Chardon Rd, Kirtland, OH. Regular weekly work sessions are held on Wednesday nights when Daylight Savings Time is in effect. Anyone is welcome to come to a work session to see what the group is all about.

Narrow Gauge Society

Description: Informal club with periodic gatherings.  Covers narrow gauge railroads (rails less than 58.5 inches apart, but generally lines of 2 foot or 3 foot gauge).  Members from Canton and Mansfield to Bay Village and Mentor (Ohio). Sporadic newsletter.

Meets: About six meetings a year at member's homes.

Northern Ohio S Scalers

Description: Informal S-scale club started in December 1998. Goals are to promote model railroading, improve modeling skills of the members, and to have fun with the hobby.  Emphasis is on 1:64 scale with no restrictions on gauge, era, or prototype.
One-time dues are $15 when joining the club.

Meets: Last Sunday of every month at 2 pm in members' homes.

Description: We are a organization committed to saving and restoring the Painesville Depot. The plan is to make the depot a museum for the railroads and interurban of Lake County. Our goal is to restore the structure to a useful purpose again!!
