The Third Saturday in October we will spend the day promoting the hobby by having FREE public workshops.

Many times a modeler, no matter the skill level, has questions about what they are doing.  NMRA members have our fellow members to turn to but others may not.  We encourage those that do not belong to our group to join us to learn ways to start or improve your modeling skills.

We set aside a day each year to provide a training session on the basics of model railroading and try to cover several aspects of our hobby. This gives new or existing modelers an opportunity to ask the questions and see experienced hobbyists do their thing. While we are doing this we invite new people to view our layouts?
